Bio

Sorry About Your Daughter formed in the D.C. underground in 1992 — a collision of crashing guitars, serrated melodies, and the kind of raw urgency that only comes from playing basements until your ears ring for days. They released two full-length albums in 1995 and 1996, appeared on MTV Europe, and did relentless touring before stepping back from the spotlight.

The band reunited in 2019 for a sold-out hometown performance. That led to the EP AFTERBIRTH, comprising unreleased songs from their 1996 album Face, which earned early praise (“a cathartic gut-punch” — Static City Weekly).

Sorry About Your Daughter are now embarking on the Atlantic to Adrenaline: Anniversary Tour — an EU/US run celebrating 30 years of Face (1996 to the present) and marking their first time back in Europe since their last tour there.
